In 2009 Radio Victoria and its staff received death threats and threats to sabotage its equipment because it denounced fraudulent elections, the damage caused by the metal mining companies in the area and the assassination of Marcelo Rivera, an activist who denounced the mine companies.
Waves of Changeis a survey of community media around the US and the world. In addition to a web site, there will be a DVD set with segments produced in many countries.
