Radio Victoria is a community radio station managed by young people in the northeastern province of Cabanas in El Salvador. This short video (Parts I and II) will be included in our new series Waves of Change
In 2009 Radio Victoria and its staff received death threats and threats to sabotage its equipment because it denounced fraudulent elections, the damage caused by the metal mining companies in the area and the assassination of Marcelo Rivera, an activist who denounced the mine companies.
