Russell Shoatz, a revolutionary minded activist, former member of the Black Panther Party, has been incarcerated for 40 years - 30 of those years held in solitary confinement. Incarceration rate for whites in the U.S. = 450 per 100,000 people; for Latinos = 1000 per 100,000 people; for African Americans = 2500 per 100,000 people. Dare anyone say this is not a racist system?
